Int’l Quran Expo: Astan of Hazrat Abbas Pavilion Receives Large Number of Visitors
This is according to the deputy head of the Holy Quran Scientific Assembly affiliated to the Astan.
“Visitors are introduced to the latest publications, scientific output and Quranic content of the Astan and have the opportunity to participate in various programs at the pavilion,” Ibrahim al-Tamini said.
He added that the pavilion’s programs included a “small Quran” competition, a section for writing letters to Imam of Zaman (may God hasten his glad advent), participation in answering questions, and participation in a lottery to receive the flag of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine.
The calligraphy workshop of the pavilion has also been received well, he said, noting that visitors write verses of the Holy Quran and hadiths of the Prophet (PBUH) and Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS).
Al-Tamimi emphasized that this presence is part of the series of scientific and cultural activities of the Holy Quran Scientific Assembly, and its goal is to highlight the role of the Assembly in strengthening and supporting scientific and cultural activities and promoting interaction with academic and religious institutions inside and outside Iraq.
The Tehran International Holy Quran Exhibition is underway at the Imam Khomeini Mosalla (prayer hall) in Tehran with the slogan “Iran under the Protection of the Quran” and will run until March 6.

The expo annually held during the holy month of Ramadan by the Iranian Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.
With various programs including specialized sessions, educational workshops, Quranic gatherings, and activities tailored for children and teenagers, the international event aims to promote Quranic concepts and activities.
The exhibition also serves as a platform to showcase the latest Quranic achievements in Iran and a variety of products dedicated to the promotion of the Holy Book.
